2013 saw us fulfil our long-held dream to build a small hotel alongside our regular employment. The desire and passion to build, furnish and decorate were our motivation.
Numerous journeys abroad, including trips to England, Holland, France and Belgium were inspirational. And they laid the creative foundations which are what make our hotel unique. Over several years - with a VW Bus - we collected unusual furniture, knick-knacks and decorative objects, which would lend each room its distinctive character: Bistro tables and stools from Paris, a mirror from Orleans, a rocking horse and chandelier from Gascony, wooden benches from Holland and many other curiosities. We are particularly proud of our personalised porcelain from Limoges.
Our mission completed, we determined in 2019 to expand our “little hotel” significantly by lavishly restoring a listed building dating back to 1619.
Much has been changed, new things have been added, but the essentials nonetheless remain: the distinctive atmosphere and a warm and personal service, together with our wish, to make you feel really comfortable and want to visit (again).
